Calibre is a free and open source e-book management tool that allows one to organize, save and manage e-books. It also supports e-book syncing with a variety of popular e-book readers. Calibre supports the conversion of many input formats to many output formats. Calibre is primarily an e-book cataloging program. It is designed around the concept of the logical book, where a single database entry corresponds with the same book in a variety of formats.

Children's Picture Book Database at Miami University offers abstracts of over 5,000 books and is searchable by keyword, title, author, concept or skill.

Children's Storybooks Online Stories to be read online that are primarily for middle school students. There are, however, some stories for primary students. An award-winning site and a recommended safe site for students.

Database of Award-Winning Children's Literature "The purpose of this database is to create a tailored reading list of quality children's literature or to find out if a book has won one of the indexed awards. DAWCL has almost 7,000 records from 78 awards across six English-speaking countries (United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England, and Ireland)."
